Getting Started with Opera

Opera provides tools to help you browse the web, organize tabs, synchronize data across devices, and improve privacy while browsing. 

First Launch

When opening Opera for the first time, you can:
  1. Import bookmarks and settings from another browser. 
  2. Customize the Start Page. 
  3. Sign in to your Opera account. 
  4. Configure privacy and browsing preferences. 

Sign In to Your Opera Account

Signing in allows Opera to synchronize bookmarks, passwords, browsing history, settings, and open tabs across devices. 
  1. Open Settings
  2. Navigate to Synchronization
  3. Select Sign In
  4. Enter your Opera account credentials. 

Customize the Sidebar

The Opera sidebar provides quick access to tools and services such as:
  1. Bookmarks 
  2. History 
  3. Downloads 
  4. Messengers 
  5. Music Player 
  6. My Flow 
  7. Settings 
Notes
You can add or remove sidebar items through Sidebar Setup in Settings. 

Import Data from Another Browser

  1. Open Settings
  2. Locate Import bookmarks and settings
  3. Select the browser you want to import from. 
  4. Choose the data to import. 
  5. Click Import
